SONICPLATTFORMING at Eco-tectura Festival Guslitsa September 2012
In September 2012 Plattformer and
James Dunn were invited for a 2 week residency at Guslitsa, a former
textile and prop-making factory situated 80km east of Moscow Russia.
Sonicplattforming Guslitsa
is the result of the appropriation of objects, the reconfiguring of
various discarded materials and the introduction of gathered sound
recordings. This has enabled a site-specific installation where
familiarity is allowed to gather new meaning through participation,
interaction and event.
